Giving to Keith Country Day School
The Annual Fund Campaign
Independent schools such as Keith Country Day School are able to offer challenging programs
because of the support demonstrated each year by parents, alumni, grandparents, faculty and
staff, alumni parents and friends contribute to Keith Country Day School.
Gifts to Keith Country Day School can take many forms including unrestricted funds,
gifts-in-kind, underwriting and restricted funds. Additionally, donors have the opportunity
to support various fundraising programs including Annual Giving, several special events,
and restricted gifts to the endowment and planned giving.
Since 1916, Keith Country Day School has relied on the school community to
continue the tradition of fulfilling the KCDS mission – to prepare children for lives
of meaning and purpose. Each year parents, former trustees, alumni, grandparents,
faculty and friends of KCDS will come together to show their financial support
through the Annual Fund Campaign.
Contributions raised through the Annual Fund Campaign have a direct impact upon
the quality of education produced at KCDS. The Annual Fund allows the School to
maintain its superior education by providing strong academic programs, a low student-
faculty ratio, technological programs and faculty enrichment. It also helps bridge the
gap between tuition and the school’s operating expenses. In 2009, over 65% of Keith
School students received some level of financial assistance.
The 2009-2010 Annual Fund Campaign is $400,000 and runs from July 1, 2009 to
June 30, 2010. All gifts help make a difference and we encourage the participation
of the entire Keith School family including parents, board members, faculty and alumni.
