Admissions decisions
At Keith Country Day School, we try to place all students in an environment in which they will succeed by developing academic skills and building a strong sense of self- confidence. In fairness to each individual, it is important to accept only those students for whom we can make a reasonable prediction of success in our program. Admissions decisions are made after all tests and visits are completed and previous records are reviewed. |
Financial Aid While a Keith education is an investment that will pay dividends for life, it also represents a significant financial commitment. We offer an extensive financial aid program as well as grant and scholarship opportunities. More that 45% of Keith's student body receive a merit scholarship or financial aid. Any parent whose child has been accepted at Keith may request a financial aid application. Requests are reviewed each year. Scholarships and grant programs are as follows:
Belle Emerson Keith Scholarships The BEK scholarhip provides a select number of renewable, partial scholarships each year to outstanding Upper and Middle School students. To earn a BEK scholarship an exam is offered for students in grades 5-10 in December. Following the exam, scholastic aptitude, achievement and personal character are considered in determining each year's recipients.
Mallquist Scholars The Mallquist Scholars program is an annual grant opportunity. This program offers a limited number of grants to current and new Upper and Middle School students based on successful completion of the BEK exam, prior academic record, and a demonstrated financial need.
