
Ron Lee
Head of Middle and Upper School
B.A. in Political Science from the University of Chicago
Ph.D. and M.A. in Political Science from Boston College
In May of 2009, Ron Lee was named Head of Middle and Upper School. In recent years, Ron has put Keith Country Day School in the national spotlight. In 2006, the College Board indicated Keith has the strongest Advanced Placement U.S. History course in the world among schools its size range. In 2007, Ron’s AP European History course was rated #1. Following his promotion to the administration, Ron scaled back on his teaching schedule and now he only teaches the AP courses within the history department. In addition to Keith, Dr. Lee teaches in the Political Science Department at Rockford College and previously taught at Boston College, Michigan State University, and Kenyon College. He has been published in the political science journal Polity and has edited and been a contributing writer for high school readers on government, the Constitution, American history, and world politics. Ron enjoys reading, music, and sports. He also enjoys lively debate and discussion, especially about politics. |
