In 1998, Keith became the first school in Illinois to develop a comprehensive laptop |
computer program. Our connected learning provides: |
| |
| |
- Networking laptop computers for every sixth through 12th grade student and teacher
| |
- High-speed wireless access to the Internet
| |
- An email address connecting every student and teacher
- A Lower School computer lab plus classroom computer centers
| |
- A library giving students immediate access to global electronic databases and other resources far beyond the library walls.

Because we are a college-preparatory school, we prepare our students to use technology for their academic pursuits in all |
| |
disciplines. Keith students learn basic applications, research, communication, networking, and presentation methods. We |
are not a "technology school" that teaches programming, and technology at Keith is not a separate descipline. We are a |
| |
laptop school which integrates technology wherever it can enhance the curriculum for our students. |
