The Forever Keith campaign is the cornerstone of all fundraising programs at Keith Country Day School. The campaign is designed to help support classroom enhancements, professional development opportunities, facilities upgrades, scholarships, technology advancements and much, much more. In short, every aspect of school life is impacted by the Forever Keith program.
Like most independent schools, tuition revenues cover approximately 80% of Keith’s operating costs. That means, we must rely on contributions from parents, grandparents, friends, alumni, and the community to help us balance our budget each year. While tuition provides most of the resources necessary to ensure that our students receive a high quality education, Keith Country Day School is committed to offering a strong liberal arts curriculum with enriching co-curricular programs. It is the comprehensiveness of our programs that differentiate us from other schools. Based on almost 100 year legacy, we must uphold the integrity of the Keith School educational experience as envisioned by founder, Belle Emerson Keith.
In addition to the tax benefits, participating with the Forever Keith campaign is also a wonderful way to engage the business community in education. Many businesses match the personal gifts made by employees, retirees, and family members to educational institutions.
Belle Emerson Keith started Keith Country Day School in her home with just eight students. Today, our student body is close to 300 students on a 15-acre campus. We offer the most comprehensive and rigorous curriculum in the Northern Illinois region for all students. We may be a little bigger than we were in 1916, but our dedication and commitment to a superior educational experience remains the same because of the ongoing support of our families and friends who have made generous donations to the Forever Keith campaign.
