Wendy Morgan

3rd Grade Teacher
Elementary School

Mrs. Wendy Morgan believes every child deserves a classroom where they feel known, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential. She is passionate about creating an engaging learning environment that encourages curiosity, builds confidence, and helps students develop both academically and socially.

Mrs. Morgan earned her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with a specialization in Early Childhood Education from Western Illinois University, where she graduated with academic honors and received the university’s prestigious Outstanding Pre-Service Teaching Award, an honor presented to only a select group of future educators. Before becoming a classroom teacher, she spent several years working with children as an infant teacher, kindergarten and special education paraprofessional, and student teacher, experiences that strengthened her ability to differentiate instruction and support the unique needs of every learner.

Throughout her career, Mrs. Morgan has been recognized for building meaningful relationships with students, fostering welcoming classrooms, and creating engaging, hands-on learning experiences. Colleagues describe her as compassionate, patient, and creative, with a natural ability to help children feel comfortable taking risks, growing in confidence, and developing a love of learning.

Outside the classroom, Mrs. Morgan enjoys spending time with her family and has dedicated many years to serving young people through organizations including Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and 4-H. As the proud mother of five grown children, she understands the importance of strong partnerships between families and schools and values working together to help every child succeed.
