B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas A&M University-Commerce
Mrs. Dennis brings a strong background in elementary education and science to Keith. A graduate of Texas A&M-Commerce, she holds a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis on science for grades 4-8. Her teaching experience spans preschool through grade 7, holding positions throughout Illinois and Texas. Most recently, Mrs. Dennis served as both director and teacher of a preschool in Caledonia, Illinois. Previous positions included classroom teacher for grades 3, 4, and 7 at two independent school districts in Texas. In addition to classroom teacher, Mrs. Dennis served as the grade 7 science lead teacher at Wylie Independent School District in Wylie, Texas. As an educator, Mrs. Dennis strives to foster a supportive and enriching environment for students of all learning levels and abilities.
Mrs. Dennis has earned numerous continuing education hours and has prioritized participation in professional development organizations throughout her career.
Mrs. Dennis brings a warm and engaging personality to the classroom. She aims to create a learning experience that is both nurturing and stimulating. Her goal is to encourage children to have a love for learning and instill a strong desire to explore the world around them.
Outside of the classroom, Mrs. Dennis enjoys spending time with friends and family, her husband Aukai and two young children, Mason(6) Landyn (4) and her mini sheepadoodle (Winnie). [She can usually be found running her children between cheer, raptors soccer and basketball].
