Keith Country Day School has unveiled its new and improved playground on campus, thanks to a generous donation from the Beto-Griffin family. Rockford Chamber of Commerce ambassadors, Keith students and staff, and members of the Beto-Griffin family were on-site for a ribbon-cutting ceremony and celebration.
This recent donation from the Beto-Griffin family builds on the original donation they made almost 20 years ago. This year’s donation updated the playground and included the installation of new playground equipment.
The donation helped facilitate repairs to the existing playground, and add three new pieces of equipment, including a new swing, stools, a standing spinner and a tetherball game.
Keith instills in students the importance of play, fun and socialization as critical building blocks to a student’s growth and development into a well-rounded person.
