Mrs. Hunter-Rosene is an educator and school leader who promotes inclusivity and academic excellence within the classroom and encourages her students to be lifelong learners.
Mrs. Hunter-Rosene graduated from Bradley University with a Bachelor of Science in education and an ESL endorsement, as well as a Bachelor of Music with a concentration in the clarinet. She went on to earn a Master of Science in Education in school leadership from the University of Pennsylvania.
Prior to joining Keith, Mrs. Hunter-Rosene served as assistant principal at Nashold Early Childhood Center in Rockford Public Schools District 205. While there she helped implement building goals that supported the school’s mission and vision. Her responsibilities included teacher evaluations, data collection and analysis, implementation of school safety plans, and engagement events with families.
Before working in Rockford, Mrs. Hunter-Rosene spent two years teaching second grade at Jefferson Elementary School in Dixon Public Schools District 170. In addition to teaching, she held several leadership positions including serving on the school’s leadership team and the DPS 170 interview team and curriculum committee.
